Our Vision

Objective of the Club is to provide a dais to garden and nature lovers to exchange the ideas about gardening, urban biodiversity conservation and Climate change mitigation

Networking: We are the examining authority since last 47 years to examine quality gardens in the city which includes gardens of various sectors like residential, industrial Municipal Corporation, educational institutes, University etc
Capacity Building Gardens Club actively organizes the capacity building workshops to train gardeners and citizens to create awareness about garden development for hiodiversity conservation.
Research and Training Gardens club is conducting workshops for University,
RAMETI, Municipal corporation, Social clubs, schools, colleges, Rachat gat in various gardening skills like bonnal technique, theme gardens, miniature gardening skills, waste management and Kitchen gardening, organic fertilizers and pesticide development, urban biodiversity conservation through sustainable development.
Consulting in tree census program of Kolhapur Municipal Corporation, State government plantation program, Urhan forestry, Garden development with specific themes at public gandens and educational hubs

Publications

We publish our yearly magazine Rojet, Calendar and informative booklets providing authentic information regarding gardening and nature. It is popular resource material for garden lovers.
T. V. Shows National T. V. Chanel STAR MAZA has shown special program “Mazi hag” and covered 40 gardets under Gardens club expertise. Regional channel “8 chanel has released 25 episodes in serial titled “Chhand Hiravaicha” under club expertise as Garden Development Awareness programihe

Our Values

Achievement: State level ist prize in Maharashtra state government Chh. Shivaji Maharaj Vanashree Puraskar 2016
Gardens Club expertise: Botanist, Agriculturist, Horticulturist, Architects, Landscape designers, Bonsai masters, Floral designers, Artist, Miniature garden specialist. Agro based entrepreneurs, Environmentalist.
National-International Exposure: Gardens Club has started a special sister branch affiliated to “Indojapanese association “Kolhaur Bonsai Club”- which represents the city at National and international level. Present team has attended the 7th World Bonsai Convention 2013 held at Jintan, China and 8th World Bonsai Convention 2017 Saitama, lapan International Borusai convention at Radoda 2012, Mysore 2016 and 2018 Pane
Impact Assessment: Our workshops and awareness program is reflected through quality improvement of gardens, plantations and nursery product improvement. Numbers of kitchen gandens, terrace gardens are increased with themes and organic waste management.
